AdSense is an advertising system from Google. This program allows people to show advertisements in their web sites. For example, if you own a web site, you can join the AdSense program and start showing Advertisements from Google.
When you join this program, Google will give you few lines of script which you need to insert in your web page. This script will automatically display advertisements relevant to the content of your web page. You can see an example in this page. See the advertisements from Google on top of this page. Since this page is about Google AdSense, probably the advertisements you see are related to Google AdSense.
When your visitors click on the Ads in your web page, you will earn revenue. Google will send you the payments once in a month. You can learn more about AdSense in http://www.google.com/adsense/ or find answers to some common questions.
Anybody who owns or manages a website can join the AdSense.
Even if you do not have a website, you can participate in revenue sharing websites like IndiaStudyChannel.com and make money from internet.

Adsense,an advertising program from Google,enables website publishers,to earn money by running ads served by google.The person/webmaster who has a website or blog and enrols himself in to the adsense program,which by the way is free to join,is called a publisher.He/she is required to place a javascript code on their web on their site to enable google to serve the ads.The script pulls keyword-relevant ads from it’s ad server content database and serves them onto the web pages.Everytime a visitor clicks on an ad the webmaster/publisher gets paid a percentage of the fee that google receives from the advertiser.Google’s sends out digital “crawlers”(googlebot)which parses the host web page,analyzes the content determines what keywords are relevant,in relation to the content on the web page and reports its findings back to google’s ad server.ads matching those keywords are then served by the google server.The entire process is automated.How much can a web publisher make? depends on : how much traffic your site draws, how many visitors click on your ads , revenue per click generated to you. some ads paying as much as $5 or more,in which case,it is possible for to generate a serious income. there are cases of some people earning as much as $400/day and more.
