Members,
We had initiated a thread to clear duplicate content in ISC for which we took your help. This is the second part of the same program, wherein you can report duplicate posts in our college section. Each valid reported duplicate will get 1 point and Re.1/-.
How to report: In a response in this thread, you should give first the later dated post and then state that it is a duplicate of which older dated college post. Please give clickable links to both the posts so that Editors can review them more quickly.
Example:
www.zyr...
is duplicate of: www....
Note:
1. If there is more than 1 duplicate college post, please mention all of them in one response together.
2. If the post clearly states already "merged with...." then it will not be considered as a valid report.
3. If the post has already been deleted obviously it will not be a valid report.
Request: In each response, please try to give 10-12 colleges at a time.
If you wish to report duplicate school posts, report them here.

I didn't find any duplicate college entry but found some spelling mistake in name of cities

there should be Rae Bareli.

Surykant,
You can give a list of 10-12 college duplicates at a time in one response. If you post 2-3 in a response and that response has not yet been checked, you can add more to the same response.
Of course, if the points & cash credits have already been given to a response, then post the duplicates in a fresh response as the editor will not check responses again where points & cash credits have already been given.

Respected editors,
In response no. #298500 college Shri Shivaji Education Society's Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Polytechnic College, Amravati has not got any credit. There are total 2 duplicates entries of this college with original post. All entries have same address, pincode and contact numbers.
In same response calculation of credits given currently is wrong. Excluding above entry it has to be Points 10 (Rs. 10)
Similarly,
In response no. #299590 TRR College of Engineering have total 5 entries (1 original + 4 duplicates). All the duplicate entries are now murged with original college. This response should get 8 points and Rs. 8/- credits.
Please consider all above and revalue both the responses.

Dear Pramod,
Responce #298500 edited to Cash 10 Point 10, there was an error during editing and hence that post was left out. It is cleared now.
Responce #299590, cash allotted is correct. Cash rule is per entry 1Rs it does not mean that you have five duplicates of one college means 5 Rs. So for TRR there are 4 duplicates but cash allotted will be only Rs.1.

Dear Nilesh,
Thanks for doing required changes. Here is one confusion in my mind. As you said if a college even if have 4 duplicates still will get Rs. 1 as a cash credits. In that situation just take an example. If for such collehe if I am reporting one duplicate and rest 3 duplicates will posted by 3 other (different) members then no doubt that we all get each Rs. 1/- as a cash credit. It means that person who is reporting more than one duplicate (as I am doing this) will be in loss. Specially there are few colleges which has multiple duplicates in our database. So I think you should try to think on this. If possible try to pass on this response to Vandana ma'am and Tony sir. Just would like to there views on this.
Also tell me if same rule is applicable for schools or not.

Hi Pramod,
Once merged, the same can not be shown as duplicate by other member. So credit goes to only the first member, if the same college is posted as duplicate as new submission then it gets merged during the first course of edit only so there is no room for member to show it as duplicate post.
