There was a time when Hollywood had nothing to do more than come up with FBI/CIA agent movies. Movies like RED The American, The Tourist, Columbiana etc. The craze for undercover agents knowing 'secrets' of the central echelons of organizations gripped Hollywood production houses. Thank God. They are over I hope.

Hi,
I think Hollywood directors are making almost all kinds of movies. Yes, you can say that there are lots of movies which more focused on an FBI / CIA kind of stories. Still these stories have much taste of science fiction that's why these movies are so successful every corner of the world. Each Hollywood movie has a different taste and give different pleasure watching them.

No, i don't think that the typical action Hollywood movie is totally based on the CIA or FBI .Taking my point of view i think that the action movies now are based on the stories of the vampires for instance the twilight series,the blade series,the underworld evolution etc these movies are totally base on the vampires and not on the CIA or FBI.The latest action movies are also based on the roman gods like Clash of the titans ,Thor,etc

I agree with you Bru. Even famous hollywood actors, as Robert De Niro or Al Paccino don't read film script any more. As long as they are payed well they would accept any role and movie. There are so many beautiful minds who's biographies should be represent in the movies, so much important historical moments, but the easiest money seams to be gained from FBI/CIA, Mobsters movies. It's even hard to find a decent comedie nowdays. Once I was a fan of Adam Sendler, but I'm totally disappointed in his movies lately, as he became a producent and director.
