How many medal we get at London Olympics 2012? |

Dear members
We are going to have a great, huge bag of expectations as we are going nearer and nearer day by day, we have lots of expectations from our athletes, shooters, boxers and other hope is there in Badminton as well. How many medals we are going to get this time? I think medals are sure in Shooting, Boxing, but we are banking on Hockey, Badminton, Archery as well. Lets hope for a surprise too.

I donot think that India this will be performing upto that mark which should be expected.What do we get just 1 or 2 golds.
India has nearly 20% of total world population and we get just 1 or 2 golds in the olympics thats real shame for us.
I think govt. should bring some necessary steps towars increasing the sports potential of the country like introducing extra marks in in ciruculum of the students starting from class 1st only.

Very glad to know that many of our sport persons have been qualified for Olympics 2012 in different sport categories. We always wishes for the victory of Indian contestants. This time we are hoping for the win of more medals in Olympics. As we all know India lacks world class players and performers, let us hope for more medals for India.
There are some things that money just cannot buy, like manners, morals and intelligence.

It has been the track record that Indian sports person at the Olypics were not that lucky performer to register your wins. However a decent winning of medals are expected. I expect 3 gold, 15 silver and 30 bronze in various categories.

I have looking at the number medals India achieve in every olympic games. But always, the number was disappointing. Indians are very generous and give chance to grow others even at the crucial times of their lives. I feel Olympics have no exemption on this thought.
Atleast, this time, I hope India to win considerable number of Gold medals in various categories and to give tough competition to countries like China, Russia, Brazil, Italy etc.

I will be very over expecting if we will compare our Athletes with that of China and US but this is for sure that we are giving them some good competition in Boxing, shooting.

The Olympic Team from India seems to be going great guns. The team seems to have come up pretty well. It is not going to be easy but this is going to be a now or never situation for India. Indian Olympic Team never looked so good and in shape. The athletes are also spread over various disciplines and we need not pin our hopes on one or two events unlike the earlier Olympiads. Boxing Team is great but this is also where the opponents are going to be the toughest. Commonwealth Games were great but Olympics is completely a different arena. If Indian archers and shooters are able to hold their nerves in the games and not get nervous in the final moments then it will be India all the way. I hope that India can make London Olympics it's best performance in all Olympic history.

We can expect medals in Olympics. Their will not be rapid increase in the number of medals from the precious year. Tournaments that took place in last four years proves this fact. Luck is another factor in a game like Olympics. Remember the disqualification of Usain Bolt last year. It was really shocking. However let us pray for our team and hope for better performance. As far as India is concerned for last few years we have many gains including prestigious cricket world cup. In last Olympics we gained gold medal which is a rare event for us. That luck may help us at London also.
