Resource contest: Universities in India |

Hi all,
India is becoming an educational hub with all parents trying to provide their children the best possible education. For this, they try to get their children in best colleges and Universities. So, in this contest you can cover topics about various Indian Universities. The articles need not be on any specific university but could be general university topics like
Agricultural universities in India
Foreign universities in India
Technology Universities in India
Deemed Universities in India
How to get admission to universities in India
etc.
In addition to the contest prizes, high cash will be given to good entries (the cash might be normal initially, but when a revaluation is done by judges before announcing the winners, it might be increased).
Many of the entries will be appropriate to the "Career Guidance" category, however, if you think that your article suits any other category feel free to use that.
Last date for entries is 3rd June, 2012.

Can we also submit proper detailed reviews of any particular universities for this contest? And under category do we have to post this article?

I would not recommend writing a review on a particular University, rather you can write brief review of Universities in an article like "Top 10 MBA Management Universities in India" or Top 5 Management Universities in India".
Though I am not saying that you cannot submit a University review, but the contest winners are primarily decided on traffic potential and quality. So, review a University only if you think you can make your article to top pages of Google search result for commonly used search terms.

Full explanation is not necessary, neither a list will do. A short explanation of each University is required to make it at least 600 words.

There is no particular section in which you have to post the article. Please use your understanding to find the section according to the article.
@Arun- Answer to your question is given above in my reply to Lienda and as for category please use your own understanding for that purpose.

I think Education would be the best category. Also, should we give the URLs of our articles in this thread to be considered as entries for the contest?
One request: please could we have a later closing date? There are lots of universities in India and it would give members time to post more if the contest is kept open for at least 20-25 days. We would then have more time to find the information on the Net & write good quality articles.

The list of deemed university is attached on excel format.
All this university are UGC granted. Date of establishment of this universities is also mention on the excel spread sheet.

You are not supposed to give any attachments nor list universities. You have to write an article about a university or a general article related to universities and submit it in the resource section. Then give the URL of your article here in this thread in a response to be considered as an entry for the contest.
