Clash between great player for post of captain |

after the win ipl cup indian opener thought that he can do magic like dhoni , it is not true he is a most frustrated captain who i ever seen , he doesn't remove is pad till his team won ,but if u take dhoni a cool captain who can handle any situation with calm and easy manner ,so dhoni is only great

It is not the right time to tell who is better between Dhoni and Gambhir. But it can be said that Gambhir is also a good captain. He leads the team from the front with his bat. It is also true for Dhoni, whenever there is a crissis situation the has done his best to rescue the team. Gambhir has to go a long path of a captain's carrier to match the achivement of Dhoni.
Everybody should remember that Gambhir has won the IPL for the first time. But Dhoni has won it twice. Along with it he has won the World Cup T20 and World Cup One Day, and also the challangers Trophy.
So the time has yet not come to comment wheather Dhoni is better or Gambhir. But in future it may happen that Gambhir may surpassed the records of Dhoni. It is not the right time to appoint Gambhir ahead of Dhoni. We should give Gambhir the time to prove himself.
If Dhoni retires from the game then we can give the baton to Gambhir as he is the next most sutible person for this post.

Well after the conclusion of IPL, discussions are wide spread regarding the captaincy change in test matches as the team lead by Gautam Gambhir has won the IPL season 5 by defeating the team that lead by Dhoni. But in my view it is not good to discuss about the captaincy change as IPL is only entertainment and commercial mode of game which hasn't any effect on normal cricket. Dhoni has been proved as the best and most successful captain so far. There is not any need for changing or replacing him with another. Dhoni is the cool captain who handles every situation with cool mind. Media should stop these kind of news which haven't worth in present conditions.
There are some things that money just cannot buy, like manners, morals and intelligence.

I really don't like when we start calculating that when Dhoni saved the team, when Gambhir played better, when there was a famous knock by others etc. They are players, they have been doing best for the country by bringing best out of them, indulging in the same to the core, this is something which should be there and no comparison between all.
Why there is a question, speculation over the captaincy when there is no need for this, I mean Dhoni is also doing great, when he will feel that he is not doing justice to the post, he will inform the officials himself. Why there is a need to humiliate the other person by telling him that you are not good, that too at a time when he is in full form?
There is no doubt that Dhoni and Gambhir have played some crucial knocks and brought the glory for the nation. So let them play in their usual form, by not pressurizing them.

Dhoni is good captain. Gambhir is no doubt a best player,but not a good captain. He is very angry person and get angry too quickly.
Please don't conclude someones ability from one tournament. dhoni is the best captain and Gambhir will be the option after the dhoni.
