Which mobile phone do you use?

Posted Date: 17 Jun 2012      Posted By:: Mala Jaiswar     Member Level: Diamond    Member Rank: 70     Points: 2   Responses: 13

I have created this thread out of curiosity. A mobile phone is perhaps the most important thing an individual uses today whether he/she be a student or an aged person. I would like to know which mobile phone you use and if you are happy with its features. Which is your next dream phone?

I am using Nokia handset these days. After searching for a long period I found that Nokia is the best brand among the cheap handsets. It offers most of advanced features in a minimal price range. My next dream phone is HTC One X Android handset.

Sultan.

But I am feeling a very Strong desire o get an android phone; so lets see when I will be able to get one; but I would love to go for Nokia as my next phone brand itslef because it is the best brand for me.

Hey
I use an HTC One V.
The best thing- Android Ice cream sandwich 4.
A 5 MP camera...
Price: 17,699 INR - 8GB SD card with 4 GB internal memory (1GB free for user).
Also comes with the HTC Sense - Sandwich+Sense = An awesome combination!
Video recording comes in a 720p HD. Its awesome!
And the battery life is great! Easily runs a day with a normal internet usage.

The camera is another feature thats worth mentioning. 5 Mp, but the clarity/Resolution is as good as the one from an 8 Mp. Same with video recording (HD).

Battery life is excellent! Im not a heavy user; 5-6 hrs of internet a day. As of now i have 70% of battery left on my phone, and its been running for about 16 hrs! Unbelievable? Believe it!

Will run some HD games and see how the performance is affected...! Will keep you all posted.

My next dream phone... Samsung Galaxy SIII :D

Well, Mala,
In the year 2000, I had bought a very simple ordinary Nokia set with FM Radio facility costing Rs. 3300. It performed well and still in a operational state. In 2011 March, I bought Lemon IQ 707 for Rs. 3000. It is performance is excellent. It has all the facilities I wanted. It has Audio vedio recorder/player and camera and internet browser. When I am away from home, I use this set. Opera Mini helps me to keep in touch with ISC. I do not have much knowledge about other latest cell phones. I am happy and satisfied with what I have. I also have one black berry presented to me lying idle.

I started with a second hand Ericson set when the outgoing calls were nine rupees. Then I handled a Trium set, a Motorola set, then a 3-SIM (2GSM+1CDMA)Chinese make Lephone. This Lephone was really wonderful with all features and at a relatively cheap price of about Rs 4500. It went well for about 2 years. Then suddenly there was some problem. At present I am having a 2 sim(GSM +CDMA) Lava set for last one year.

I need only the basic facilities f talking and messaging. Occasionally I take photos and videos while on travel or visiting a place. All these are satisfied.

But the one I will cherish is a basic phone (Tata Indicom bundled package bought in 2005/6) for Rs500 and used by my wife. It went on for about two years. I will call that as real money's worth.

My first phone was N-GAGE QD which is a very beautiful phone for gaming. It just looks like a video game joystick and the people those are addicted to phone will love it. I used it for three years and my next phone is sony ericsson W200I. It was a very cheap phone with best features. It had a very good sound clarity and it had a camera too. At present i am using NOKIA X2-00 which is a good phone. It has features like wireless radio transmission, 5MP camera with a good sound clarity. You will get a beautiful picture in the camera when you take a snap. It has a flash which is used for photos and it can also be used as a torch light for emergency. NOKIA X2-00 is the best phone I have used compared to the other phones which is very cheaper and it has got all the features for the entertainment of a person. If any body is looking for a good phone in a cheaper rate you can buy this phone and you will love to use this phone because you will be satisfied that you have got the features for the amount you have paid for the shopkeeper.

Thanks
With regards

There would not be no wonder, if I say, I do use 3 mobile phones out of these three phones, two are of Nokia Model and third one is of Viva model.

The one of the Nokia model is of very old version and it was gift from my parent. The second one is one with the multimadia features. The third one mobile of Viva model is gifted by my company.

I am quite satisfied with features, battery back up and other related characteristics of the all the mobiles. Each mobile does not satisfies my requirement. However, if I combine all three, it certainly satisfies it.

Ajay

I am quite comfortable with it for just making and receiving calls, and for the message part I use my laptop for mails and also some of the website provides facility to send free SMS.

I got my first cell phone in 2009 when I was in 11th standard. That was Nokia 5130 one of its popular name is xpress music. Its one of my favorite phone of course it has some good quality but the other reason is its my first phone in my life. It was Nokia's one of the first music edition set so its' speaker is very much loud. It has another function of voice recorganisation. Its' 2 mp camera was excellent. Screen size is 2'1". But unfortunately in 2010 I lost that set in the train when I was tarvelling to the way to kolkata, which makes me very much upset. But in 2011 after completing my 12th examination I got another phone that is also from nokia and the set name is Nokia X2-00 I buy that phone at the rate of 4,900 it gives 5 Mp camera with flash cum tourch and also 4x zoom, its screen size is 2.2 inch screen, short hand key for music and camera, 2 speaker with great sound, pre loaded with Edge, java, opera mini 4.1 etc. One of the advantage is Nokia support maximum number of application as compare to other handset This handset is best in the range of 5000. And my dream phone is Nokia Lumia 800.
