The success of any resource is the easy at which data can be searched, indexed, retrieved, and stored. In the long run it is inevitable that ISC would require more ads. It is only the positioning of the ads that need to be changed. A seperate frame for the ads to the right hand side of the page where more and more ads can be placed will enable the content of the contributors not be affected and also as the ads increases, it will be easy to view them. Moreover each add placed will get more visibility since people reading the article will see all the ads as they scroll down.
Since now both the text and the ad is in the same frame, if the text is bought below the ad a lot of space is also wasted.

ISC gets over 35,000 page views per day now. I do not want to do anything that our members don't like.

Hi,
The suggestion of Bala is very good. As this will also give the member readable view without any distraction.
My suggestion if you are still trying to add more ads then it would be.. the header.. where we showcase only the Indiastudychannel name and the remaining space is empty. No graphics or text is displayed. This will also give a direct view the member and also give more revenue.

Hi Tony,
The size of the ad to the right has to be adjusted. It is gone out of visible screen. That could reduce the possibility of clicks. Bala's suggestion is good. The ozone add could also be put just below the google ad so that there is space one more dynamic ad. also the content heading and some text is visible so the reader will read on.

Hello Tony,
I request you to use search(google search) text box in each page, if not atleast for previous papers page. Thru which we can earn more and it will we flexible for our visitors. I agree with sajith, that the size of the ad to right has to be adjusted. No issues with the ad placements they are perfectly placed.

Hi Tony,
My suggestion is that Due to image ads now it is difficult to read any articles, Papers etc. Example if you see any article or paper you will find that beginning of any paper or article is at right hand side and ending is at left hand side which makes the article or paper etc. confuse.
And also i request you that, The image ads should be at the top or at the bottom of the articles not in between the articles or paper etc. One More thing their should be Google Search in each page.

My suggestion is that you can place the Image Ad at the end of the resource, so that viewers can read the article without any disturbance, mean while we can show ads also. And also you can placethe ads at right bar.

i am agree with Mr giridhar narayan,Manjit Singh ,Bala.
My suggestion is that,add ads in such part such that viewers can not get disturbance while reading,
also ISC can add seperate section for ads.ISC can add ads in post reply section.
ISC can add ads in members profile also.but ads in resources are annoying.

Dear Mr. Tony,
It's wonderful idea, having ads in ISC pages. It increases revenue to ISC as well as it make ISC popular.
Everybody as given their view and comments regarding ads, which are most essential to follow.
As Mr. Girish intimated, Ads should not disturb to the readers. In some of the websites, link to specific page like "click here to see more details" will be following the cursor where ever we move. It disturbs to the reader by covering most of the space.
Also Ads should be related to the topic, which the page includes. For example if the page contains details about Institutional Training, the Ads should be related to Training materials, appropriate institutes offering training on suitable subject etc.
Ads should be with basis programmes i.e. it should not require any advanced software / programmes like "new version of Splash, Java script" etc. On many occasions, these ads may not be viewed on readers screen, due to settings of computer softwares / operating systems.
Please ignore my comments, if those are inappropriate in nature.

Okay, most of you said Ads should not disturb in reading etc. But if we keep the Ads in some corner, no one is going to notice them. We will get paid only if people see them quickly and click on them. We can pay more to members only if people click on Ads and we get better revenue. The more we get, the more we can give to members.
I know that all Ads are disturbing little bit, but we have to choose a balance between readability and revenue. Do you all think any of the specific Ads in ISC are positioned "highly" disturbing? I will be glad to remove them.

No, their are no any ads in ISC which create HIGHLY disturbance (only VERY little bit eg. Of image ads which are at the beginning of articles (resources)), While reading articles (resources etc.)
All the ads are in their right position.

I do not see any disturbance from the Ads. But if the ads are put either on left or right frames, it would be good. I also would like to suggest another advertising company called tyroo. www.tyroo.com. you can even put the ads from that company. And i think you mught have heard about "adsforindians". They pay a good amount per click. I think it is Rs.3.00 per click. As we have good traffic in our website, you can put the ads of adsforindians company. www.adsforindians.com is the site URL.
