Treasure Hunt 4 postponed to next month |

Members,
This month's treasure hunt will not be held tomorrow. Sorry to disappoint you all, as I know many of you have enjoyed participating in the previous treasure hunts. Due to poor Internet connectivity this past week & more, I have had no time at all to select posts to place the clues.
We will hopefully have the treasure hunt next month!

Vandana Madam,
Truely speaking. I was hunting the calendar to know the last Sunday of this month. I thought it as 31 June and was fooled to know that the month June has only 30 days. Luckily it fell on 24th June the day I will be away with my previous commitments and will be off from ISC due to my journey on Sunday evening. I shall look for the hunting day in July. Thank you so.. so.. much for the information in advance. I like it.

Thank you for providing the information. I was eagerly waiting for this monsoon hunt for the treasure. But, since the monsoon has delayed, the monsoon hunt is also being delayed. I will wait for the hunt to be announced in next month.

Treasure Hunt is the most awaited game eagerly expected by many members and its postponement do bother some of us. Never mind it will be held in the coming month and that is the solace for us.
Use this forum wisely and get recognition instantly.

Through this response, I request members to await seriously for the treasure hunt 4 in the month of July. I have observed that the participation in treasure hunt is very low. Happy to note that the members who do not like and never participated in treasure hunt also await for the treasure hunt. They should encourage themselves and others to participate in such brain games. Members should love fun games at ISC and enjoy life. I expect at least a minimum of 25 members to run along in treasure hunt.

Madam Vandana,
I have a suggestion for improvement in treasure hunt. Generally the participants in treasure hunt is very low, because a participant member posts a response in the thread announcing the treasure hunt that he/she submitted the URLs to your e-mail ID. This submission by the member is viewed by other members and discourages other members to participate in the treasure hunt with a feeling that someone has already found the treasure and why should I waste my time to hunt the treasure and stand to lose a chance of winning. This feeling increases when they find more than four or five responses.
My sincere suggestion is this: Please do not ask the members to post their response in your thread after they have submitted their answer to your e-mail ID. By doing so, the members will think that no one has attempted to hunt the treasure or will not know about the members who posted their URLs, and he/she may feel that they are the first one to search the treasure. In this way many members will join the treasure hunt and there will be a crowd to join the treasure hunt.
You may announce that the members should post their response in your thread only when called for after the closure of the treasure hunt that they have submitted the URLs of the treasure hunt stating "I have participated and submitted my treasure hunt URLs to your e-mail ID at ....hrs on.....(date). This can be done through a separate thread, if considered.
I Hope, you understood my suggestion. Let one member not know what the other member is doing. This is what the essence of my suggestion to invite more participant to treasure hunt.
Please post your views, Madam.
Other members also can support my suggestion and post comments.

This time I am also waiting for the Hunt. During last season, I tried to uncover the clues, but it was little bit hard for me as I am a new member. Can anybody help me understanding the game please? I want to join this time, but the game is not clear to me.

You can call it as contest. In treasure hunt you need to collect 10 or 12 links which are interrelated to each other and posted at different section of ISC.

I too curiously wait to participate in treasure hunt. Probably the Managing Editor of ISC, Madam Vandana, will organize it during the last Sunday of this month, presumably on 29th July 2012. During the mean time prepare yourself to hunt the treasure. You can go back to previous month treasure hunt to see the rules and regulations. I expect some procedural change in the oncoming treasure hunt to invite more participants as I suggested in one of my response here (Ref. 325562) and also through a separate thread.
