This is a thread which is related to the sentimental feeling of the Muslims of the world on the film KARBAL, being made in Bollywood.
A movie is being made by Mr. Kalim Shaikh named as 'KARBALA', which is scheduled to be released in the coming days. The film 'KARBALA' has been written by Mr. Kader Khan. This is against the sentiments of the Muslims of the world wherein no one is allowed to play the role of any apostles of God or members of the holy family. Islam is a religion where images of the apostles of God and members of their holy family are not created or allowed to be acted on.

Tragedy of Karbala is an epic where in Imam Husain (AS) the grandson of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was massacred along with his entire family in the deadliest conditions in the desert plains of Karbala. The message of Karbala has been to eradicate the evils from this world and not to bow to the terrorists or the tyrants of this world, no matter what cost you may have to pay for this.
Should a film on this topic be made?

Film based on religious sentiments are rare these days. And the if at all attempts made it should be acceptable to the particular community. But directors or producers wont take the public sentiments into consideration and force the film irrelevant to the context and rip the hatred in the minds. I think censor must not allow such films which are just to made to make money. Use this forum wisely and get recognition instantly. Platinum through forum

This step may initiate a big controversy. "Satanic Verses" is a big example. There are some bengali films related to this topic, but the casting was arranged very smartly. Script writers should be more carefull while writing dialogues. A single mistake may cause big trouble. Lets see what happens. Regards, Sultan.
