What lesson your life has taught you? |

I believe that life teaches one or another lesson to every human being. We all have to undergo some worst time period in our lives. During this time, we learn many lessons. Some are related to us and some are related to this world. But the lesson is taught by our life in a very cruel manner. We cry but nobody wipes our tears. We scream but nobody hears.
To me, my life has taught me the lesson to value each and every relation in our life. Also, I learned that every person laughs upon you in your bad times except a few close relations.
Through this forum discussion, I invite members to share their opinion on this issue and tell other members that what lesson they have learned from their life so that others can be helped by this.

I have seen a similar thread earlier from another ISC member and have mentioned some points which life has taught me. To list a few here, I would say :
(a) Life has taught me that patience and adjustment can change your world and can help changing the character of your partner or any one close to you.
(b) Getting angry gets you nothing other than enemies.
(c) Time and tide waits for no one. Same way a missed opportunity is missed forever.

Hello Friend, its good topic to discuss here. From my life I learn many things. First thing I learn help to every one without any selfishness. Secondly never give up from doing any task. Third thing I learn to obeys the parents and elders. Fourth thing I learn from my never cheat with anyone and always happy. I hope in future the life will also teach me some new lessons.

Life has thought me many lesson in each phase; but the most important lesson that I have learned is not to trust any person blindly. I had a view that everyone in this world are good people.
But after some bad phases in my life; I have seen many people going away from my life as I was not helpful for them anymore. This incident made me think that I should be very clear about people from on.
And now I do come to know that who in my is for the good and whom I should totally avoid to be happy forever.

My life ,If i say was full of challenges from the time i was in 12th standard to till now.This all made me a strong person.
I strongly believe not to do and even say any such thing which can hurt any one.
Now i am a person having lots of patience,soft corner for everyone,a strong feel to help every one ,specially disable person.
These all lessons are taught to me by the circumstances i faced in my life in very young age.

Life teach all of us many lessons at different stages of our life. The most important lesson I have gained from my life is to speak true. A true person always spreads happiness in the world and give respect.

Life has its own lessons to teach.As Shakespeare says that life is a stage and all humans have to play their respective roles.Lessons are learnt from the mistakes that we commit.Life has taught me many lessons.
First, never go unplanned about your life.It wastes time.Then one should never take hasty decisions.They might seem appropriate at that moment but cause a lot of pain afterwards.

Frankly speaking. I read your thread in a hurry What lesson your wife has taught you?. I was wondering and was wavering to write about my wife in life. It took some time for me to realise that your thread is relating to life not wife.
However, I would like to narrate both life and wife in this thread. Life has taught me many things, especially how to deal with wife. Wife is an important part and parcel of our life. Without wife there is no life. Wife is the one who teaches you everything in life. Behind every man there is a women. Such women are mainly the wife living behind. To me life is wife and wife is life. What do you say?
Lakhshmi is for Narayanan and Naraynan is for Lakshmi. similary life is to wife and wife is to life. Here life is Narayanan and wife is lakshmi.

The biggest lesson I have learnt in my life was the one taught by destiny last year when my dear father was seriously ill and I had to see him in the ICU, that too for over 20 days in a row. My father suffered a brain haemorrhage and doctors told us to pray to the Almighty for his life. The two most significant lessons that I learnt during the crucial time:
1. Parents are the most precious possessions that one could possibly have. In fact, the family is an individual's most important support system and parents are the two most important pillars of that system. If case any of the pillars shake a bit, the entire set-up seems to crumble at your feet. I pray that the Almighty blesses every individual in each of our family. I would like to share something with those who cannot spend quality time with their aged parents or with their children due to their jobs – never miss an opportunity to be with your family just minding your job and spending quality time at your job does not help – amassing wealth and having a great bank balance do not help at the end of the day since it's your family to whom you return after you are through with your day's work and if you are out of tune with your family, no matter what's your bank account, you end up as a failure.
2. The Almighty really does exist. Learn to pray to God with all your devotion; never hurt your rightful fellow beings; God will be with you.

It's a never ending process which ends with a person death and till the last breath a person keeps learning. I am still learning each passing day but most important thing I have learned is that never believe any one emmidietly , give time to any relationship.
Don't be hurry in making any kind of tough decision.

From my life I could learn a big lesson so far which coincides with a great proverb in Urdu.
Bal pe bal apne bal, doosron ka bal jhoolein main jal.
That means we have to strive hard to be in the race and no body is going to give a helping hand and we should not expect that too. God is given a talent to every one and we must explore the best way to use the same and surge forward. No body can stop you nor the fate.

and there are many more things which life taught us in every moment of the time.
that is why there is a saying life is race.
