I describe face book a collection of faces not friends, Because i see every one in hurry to fill friend list not interested in making friends they accepting friend request without knowing who is she or he,what he or she think about them and what their thought even they don't care how they use their profile.face book is not a social site for me. I saw so much vulgarity which the people tags on their profile. I want to say only to people who are using face book specially girls don't share your privacy to any one its only a entertainment site so only enjoy it in your free time.

I think Facebook is a social site which allows you to connect with your friends, even they are not near you and you not use phones. This is the simple method without high cost you can share your information, picture and videos with your friends. The Facebook also allow the various advertisement company's to earn money by advertising their product.

Facebook is a social networking site. Anything can be misused these days. So Facebook has plus and minus sides too. You have portrayed Facebook in a negative manner. But I think if one takes the proper precautions, Facebook is a wonderful platform to interact with family and friends. Group interaction on such a massive scale through such a medium was impossible 25 years back.

FaceBook this is one good nice social networking site.In my view i can tell facebook is one of my best friend, time pass friend.And this help me to contact my old friends.facebook help us to be touch with friends.
in this we can share our own views with friends.so i love FB.

Facebook is a social networking site where a person can be in touch with his/her family member or friends. The best place to explore our business/blogs/new launches in front of the world in a friendly manner. The best place for online dating. The best place to get our business successful. We may discuss various topics with our friends and cousins. We can find our lost school/college friends through Facebook and interact with them for life long.

Perception of every single person is different. According to me Facebook is a social networking website and nothing more than this. Every user has the freedom to use Facebook according to his/her own wish. If somebody is happy in making lots of friends, then it is his wish. But Facebook is a place where you can meet your old friends, get real time update about your family.
There are plus and minus points of everything and we must understand that what is right and what is wrong for us. Recently social networking system is misused by the illegal activities. As per my opinion excess freedom given to children to use websites like Facebook and orkut is not a good sign. One should avoid sharing his/her personal information in social networking sites.

Facebook is the most happening and popular social networking site which gives an opportunity to connect with friends,people anywhere around the world.It offers Brilliant applications for friend lovers.Best medium to share our thoughts,moods,feelings.One can chat to any friend added in the Friends list.One can promote business also with facebook pages.
Together with the merits it have some demerits also.
Demerits:
It is too much addictive,resulting in too much of wasting of valuable time.It is sometimes used by people to insult anyone by creating false id.If someone posts something negative about you ,it shows to everyone account added to your friend list.

Hi Mala jaiswar, I know any thing can be misuse these days.I am not portrayed face book negative manner. You told me one thing are you allow your relative who is under 18 to use face book where you find so many vulgar picture and you said this is social site.I mention in my last line only you can enjoy with your friends, And i suggest do take precautions when they use face book.

Yes I accept that you can contact with your old friend and colleges i am not denying that thing. my objection only call face book social networking site. Social site for me whom i can see or interact with my family.For me to become a social site face book should develop a software where no body can't tag vulgar picture, videos or any illegal activity.I am not against to face book I against on those things on which they allow on their site.

Facebook is a social website which helps a person to find his/her old friends and also to connect with his/her new friends. Facebook as a social network connects a person to different people all over the world where he/she can make new friends and he/she can get entertained by new friends. It also has different applications which keeps them not getting bored and to keep their status updated and to dynamically change their wall posts. It has crores of users who are active each and every day and facebook is undergoing changes each and every day which still attracts the users to spend more time on it and they even do not notice how they spend time even when they are sitting for hours and accessing facebook. Even a child has an account in facebook and he shares his status with his friends. College students get very much benefited and refreshed when they are logged in to facebook.
