How to prevent changing of agri lands into apartments and industries?

India is an agricultural country. Most of the Indians are engaged in the farming. The main source of income for most of the people is the agriculture. Most of the people in India found below poverty line are farmers. In the north India each farmer contains many acres of land. There are free rice for people below poverty line. These days the agricultural lands are changing into apartments and the production get decreasing time to time leads to massive starvation. Give your suggestions to prevent destruction of agricultural lands and poverty.

Agricultural lands can be bought out by huge undertakings such as agricultural industrialists to create a supply chain. These industrialists can hire farmers with farms to produce. In the process, industrialists can use these farms for research and development of the plantation process. Every farmer can be paid more for producing the same amount through this corporate approach. Huge conglomerate that are into research and development and agricultural products may invest into these undertakings for supply creation.

Hello Sir, In am agree with your opinion, our country is mainly contains the agricultural land and most of our country members are till now farmers. But due to the modernization the various company's establish their units in our country for this they need land and they mostly prefer the land from where they can get easily the raw materials and they can sell its production in market. In past several years number of strikes, protest done by the farmers to the state level as well as as central government.I think now the times come when our government should need to make some strict laws so that the agricultural land not given tot he company's by forcing the farmers. Because if our country's farmer happy then our country will be happy. So their is need to stop the process of allotting agricultural land to the company's. Believe in Yourself Know more about me
