Education system which is almost 100yrs old is still we are following. If we want a good government, good politicians, good laws, good policies, we need a good educated citizens. Our education feed us money centric instead of making us a good citizens. I would recommend this is the first thing to change in our society. Then I put forth corruption. The black economy is the one which is pulling back our GDP right now. If we eliminate corruption we can achieve 1.5% extra growth than our current growth. Our people must be educated more about the corruption and bribery. If we take care of these two, I think we can attain the developed state.

Finally we the people of India are those who are going to decide is India a developed country or not? Why to always blame others for our poor conditions? Tell me what you have done as good citizen of India? (I am not asking question to anyone it is general question.) Do you pay your taxes correctly and in time? Do you oppose wrong things around you? Do you support good moves by government? We are doing nothing of these and still we are asking such questions. If you want to improve the system then you have to be in system. Changes will not be made in night, it takes time and efforts. Merely following trends and fashions in foreign countries will not make India a developed country. We the Indian people always thinks that what is western countries is good and what is in India is bad. When this mind set of our people changes at that moment India will be fully developed country. Until we don't have respect for our cultures, our traditions, our values we will not become a developed country. Look all things achieved by countries like Japan, China is by respecting these things. Western people also values their culture, traditions, values and that's why they are more confident than us and their countries are developed countries.

We are very good in terms of financial analysis. We are the best economy in the world. I think it is the politician and the businessmen who are standing as barriers in the development of the nation. We are earning lots and lots of income earned by the individuals and the companies and we are still a developing country. I think the politicians are supporting the things like these by not letting the income earned by the person and not revealing the black money that is located outside the nation that belongs to India. On the other hand there are many people who are just evading tax and other tax related things to get some exceptions from the government which again brings the economy to a poor one. Corruption is also a major thing that has hindered our nation to a large extend. Our country is one which gives less importance to investments but are giving more importance to save the money in banks and if you see the performance of the developed countries they invest more than 50% of their capital in share markets rather to put them in banks and have a small growth in money. Do you know how much percentage of Indian money is invested in India's stock market. It is hardly about 10% of capital of our country and that is the reason why we are developing still. We are not trying to go for a big catch and are trying to be safe with a meager amount of money as interest from the banks.

The loop holes in the laws and rules are being well exploited by the Politicians and beneficiaries of Govt contracts and thus they are benefiting fully from the resources and the poor remaining the same. Though this UPA govt stands for the cause of Aam Aadhmi, what is the use, their all programs are anti poor and nothing to ponder over.

But I would say that India is not developed because of rich and inefficient politicians. We could see some development initially when Mr. Nehru was present. After him, all the politicians appears to be greedy and selfish who are interested only in their own family and relatives and friends and their own future generations. With this present generation of politicians Indian will remain ever backward in the international world. Though we have lot of chances of becoming a super power, our politicians break it to make it into pieces. I am sure, we will be backward until we make a change in ourselves.
I will say that India will suffer in the hands of politicians and can never dream to become a super power in this world. You and i will not be there to see the grave situation in India. The show is just started and we do not know the end of this show.

Take an example of USA , it's leader , Mr. Barak Obama is qualified in the field in which each of this great country's man are good , i.e. economics . That's why economy of USA is unbeatable. But in India , the case is different , our country is known for it's goo students in science and maths , but our leader is not a mathematician or a scientist . Also do remember the decisions that waved our country up when Mr. APJ Abdul Kalam was our president. But none of our leader is now from the same field in which our country is good . Also present condition of science in our country in the leadership of today's leaders is not good .

Even after the independence some selfless leaders like L.B.Sastry,A.B,Vajpeyee ,etc...were elected as the prime ministers. But as of now we cannot find such people. The major issue degrading the development is corruption which is a consequence of selfishness. This selfishness is because of lack of moral values. To see India as a developed country we should impart moral values among the people. In addition to this a strong political conviction is necessary we will definitely see India as a developed country. But the time it takes is dependent on various factors
| #355707 Author: Ashok kumar Bag Member Level: Silver Member Rank: 1201 Date: 24/Sep/2012 Rating: Points: 4 | Dear friends , Many factors are responsible for backwardness of India . First of all the defficiency of capital is the most important factor of the backwardness of our country . Besides this illiterate , poor technology of production are another factors . The people of india since apply the aged old technique in agriculture . So the agricultural productivity of our country is less in comparison to other countries . Increasing unemployment is another factor and this problem is rising for overpopulation of our country . Corruption in pubic sector is another important factor which leads us towards backwardness . If center allocates rs 100 paise , out of this only rs 10 reaches to the needy . Thus , the policy of our govt cann't be implemented at an optimum level . Thanks a lots
