Many of us now days don't like to use wrist watch. Probably this is just because now almost we all have mobile phones which provides the facilty to show the time.
I have left using wrist watch since last 7 years because of this reason only. If on road/ at any other place when someone ask me about time I prefer to say the time just looking in my mobile phone.
Do you still like to use wrist watch just to check the time or you are using it as an accessory only?

Yes I don't use wrist watch any more because of my cellphone. I used my cellphone to see the time. There are many functions in mobile phone like calculator, calender and alarm clock etc. So we don't use external calcultaor for calculation because we have mobile phone.

I am used to seeing time in my wrist watch and mobile phones haven't managed to change this habit of mine. A wrist watch is a must for people who appear for several examinations (certification or post graduation) even after graduation i.e. while working. Also, it is a risky option to rely only on mobile phone for time. Because mobile phones need regular charging and it may happen many times that the phone battery gets switched off, especially during long days at work or when one is stuck in traffic. At such times, a wrist watch comes in handy. Even while driving a car or riding a bike, it is not advisable to use mobile phone for checking out time.
The fact that wrist watch adds value to your overall look (be it at office or parties or weddings), makes it a must have! I love wrist watches and will never give up on them.

Now days, I don't like any type of wrist watch but I like mobile phone, without mobile phone I never go out of my home. Mobile phones are like part of my life. I think to have a wrist watch is old fashion. I'm not say that a wrist watch not useful but I don't like it.

I am fond of wearing wrist watch and collecting them. But due to other accessories, I do not wear the wrist watch. But, then also, I try to wear the wrist watch occasionally.

I keep my mobile phone in my bag and to take it out, just for time is a tedious task. Therefore I always wear a wrist watch. Whenever I am out waiting for bus or train, it helps me a lot. I feel very uncomfortable, if I did not wear it.

Instead of looking at her own watch, she switched on her mobile phone & told me the time. She then had a good laugh when I pointed to the watch on her wrist!

The same funny incident occurred with me. I didn't notice that my watch was stopped, the man who was standing in front of me asked me the time. I saw my watch and told him that the time was 3 PM, but when later when I saw my mobile phone, the time was 4.30 PM. That was the funniest moment of that day.
@Pramod, I love to wear wrist watch. It looks really great on our hands and very helpful. Watching the time from our mobile phone can be very difficult. See, if we travel on bike, then we can't take out our phone again and again from our pockets to see the time. Instead, we can see from our wrist watches. Even while traveling in car or bus, we can't use our mobile phones. I used to wear before, I am wearing now, and will wear forever. I just love the round silver color watches. They look amazing!

The mobile phone is a handy gadget which can be used as a watch, telephone, calculator, camera, net searching gadget etc. I have a fancy watch but I use it only when I am going to a function or a party.
