Bhadrachalam - Hindu Pilgrimage Town

Bhadrachalam is an important Hindu pilgrimage town, located on the banks of Godavari River. The name Bhadrachalam was derived from Bhadragiri - Mountain of Bhadra who is a child of Meru and Menaka. Bhadrachalam town is very famous for temple of Lord Sree Rama. The temple at Bhadrachalam consists of self-manifested vigraha's of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana. Apart from the Sree Rama temple there are also many other Hindu temples to be visited near badrachalam like parnasala, Jattayu Paaka, Dummugudem, Gundala, Sree Rama Giri, Venkatareddipeta, Gannavaram and Sri Govinda Raja Swamy Temple.
