Solan district is divided into five constituencies - Arki, Doon, Kasauli, Nalagarh, Solan.
Four Sub-Divisions-Arki, Kandaghat, Nalagarh, Solan.
Six Tehsils- Arki, Baddi, Kandaghat, Kasauli, Nalagarh, Solan.
Three Sub. Tehsils -Darla, Kuthar, Ramshehar

Solan is a beautiful pace surrounded by high mountains and beautiful green lush valleys.

The environment is very refreshing and good for one to stay here.

Max temp. insummers around 30-32 degree celcius and in winters around 2-8 degree celcius.

There are cool nearby places to watch like chail,kasoli,waknaghat,mount karol, dalaunji monestry etc.

Solan is considered as a heart of state as it is location at centre near to shimla, chandigarh ,delhi and many more.
