Job Description
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Networking: Responsible for maintaining good relations with crewmembers, other functions, catering and representatives of other airlines.
Pre flight Activities: Co-ordinate and follow up on all activities and functions prepatory to the departure or arrival of a flight such as loading, unloading, passenger services, fuelling, maintenance and crew and handle possible irregularities within areas against punctuality.
Liaisoning:
Liaison with customs, airport authority, immigrations and other government agencies at the airport.
Passenger & Baggage Handling: Handling and proper management of passengers according to assigned Products system wide and local procedures.Supervise handling of baggage.Responsible for handling of customer complaints and baggage handling.Ensure handling of passengers is done according to rules in SPM SSM, and local procedures.
Responsible for managing direct transit passengers.
Ensure proper tagging of the baggage such that passenger and baggage destination should match.
Security & Regulatory procedures: Report deviations to Supervisors on regular basis.
Ensure that all safety and security procedures are being adhered to.
Ensure discipline among baggage representatives.
Perform telephone check-in.
Manage gate activities.
Manage irregularities according to assigned Product's system wide and local procedures.
