Job Description: Library Assistants required at Panjab University, Chandigarh
Eligible candidates required to apply through prescribed format which can be downloaded from the link provided below.
Application format.
Candidates required to submit the filled in application form on or before 12.01.2010.
Application form should accompany a non-refundable demand draft for Rs.375/-, Rs.150/-, Rs.250/-, Rs.100/- Rs.50/- and Rs.35/- based on the category of posts the candidates wishes to apply, the demand draft should be drawn the Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Applications should be forwarded through proper channel if the candidate is already a government employee.
It is mandatory for candidate to read the instructions carefully before applying for the posts.

Required qualification :
Masters degree 2nd class plus B.lib Sc./Post Graduate Diploma in Library Science in 2nd class
OR
Bachelor degree 2nd class plus M.Lib. Sc. 2nd Class Note A candidate who possesses Bachelors degree in 2nd division and M. Lib. Second division is also eligible. B. Lib is graduation like B. Ed., LL.B. B.P.Ed, MBBS, BDS etc.
