• Experience of working in small/medium sized team.
• Experience working as part of an offshored project managed from the Germany
• Demonstrable experience in component based architectures.
• Ability to maintain and support existing code.
• Knowledge of communications protocols - Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS232 etc.
• Experience of version control software - eg Sourcesafe, Subversion etc.
• To work as part of a small software team (within a large multinational corporation) developing new features and applets to enhance an industry leading engineering and configuration application for the Building Management System (BMS) industry.
• Work closely with other software teams and team members, including other development and test teams located both in India and the Schonaich Germany.
• Be available for possible ad hoc travel to the Schonaich for training and/or project related matters. Travel will typically be 2 to 4 weeks duration.
• Attend and contribute to regular project / work review sessions with various distributed project teams.
• Implement bug fixes and minor enhancements to BMS tools offerings.
• Definition and execution of developer test cases both white box and grey box. Knowledge on development of integration test cases.
