Job Description
Take corrective action for removing bottlenecks in operation.
Interact with internal supplier for supply of raw materials, spares and other resources.
Interact with internal customers for efficient power management.
Review operating parameter to achieve high TPP power share.
Ensure availability of equipments.
Develop maintenance plans for predictive & preventive maintenance.
Review & monitor schedule for shutdown jobs.
Ensure implementation of maintenance plans.
Ensure attending to breakdowns in shortest possible time.
Analyze & identify root cause of breakdowns and ensure the implementation of the Corrective actions.
Interact with OEM/Consultants for typical plant operation & maintenance problem.
Review actual cost with budget.
Identify & track key value drives for maintenance cost reduction.
Control utilisation of contract manpower and over time.
Control Plant Heat Rate, Aux. power Consumption, lubricants and spares.
Improve overall plant efficiency over and above budgeted figure.
Control of inventory.
Ensure Zero Accident
Effective utilization of resources
Development of subordinate
Implementation of VMS (Vikram Management systems).
