Job Description
¿ Ensure smooth operations and administration of network equipments and handling network outages at the zone.
¿ Operating and maintenance of the GSM network element viz BSC ,BTSs, Transmission ,ADPCM,HDSL MODEM. This would include monitoring the network by collecting and analyzing report statistics and responding to alarms at the zone.
¿ Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management through monthly maintenance, corrective and preventive along with defect analysis to be carried out on periodical basis for the zone/part of the zone.
¿ Coordinate preparation of all documentation, record keeping and effective outage handling and actively support the customer services by giving them pertinent information relating to the network.
¿ Carry out configuration / database changes and up gradation for the network in coordination with RF planning & IT within specific guidelines.
¿ Ensure timely network up gradation for BTS, Transmission & other O & M elements.
Network Maintenance:
¿ Develop local zonal plans(Part) for network maintenance, deploy and monitor these plans to prevent deterioration of network and to escalate/ design counter measures for improvement and fault prevention.
¿ Coordinate with engineering and projects for integration of new elements with the network and for specific tests related to the network.
¿ Keeping a track f the vehicle running & controlling the same.
¿ Security optimization.
¿ Preparation of monthly MIS.
