Department Description
QA Team of SSI is responsible for defining processes in line with the Quality Management System certification requirements (ISO 9001: 2008, CMMI Ver 1.2 etc). This team esnures consistent process implementation across the Organization through process trainign and compliance audits.
Brief Description
Requirement for Quality Assurance team - Process definition and QMS certification experience.
· 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in IT industry – Services or Development
· Experience in conducting internal audits / Quality Assurance reviews
· Competence in defining and implementing processes
· Ability to collect, analyze and interpret metrics data
· Good understanding of CMMI model and High maturity concepts. Appreciation of standards like ISO9001, ISO 20000 would be an added advantage etc.

Detailed Description
Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Has subject matter knowledge of relevant implementation responsibility. Database, core applications and web technology knowledge is essential. Has specific experience in implementing Oracle solutions and in systems integrations.
Job Requirements
Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. A BS or BA in related fields. 1-3 years overall experience in functional or technical role. One year experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel.
Additional Details
Responsibilities
· Objectively verify the process compliance / effectiveness against Project Engagement Plan and QMS processes
· Perform release verification for assigned projects
· Ensure timely metrics data collection and coordinate with Project Manager for analysis and corrective actions
· Support Project Manager and Team in implementing high maturity processes (Root Cause Analysis / Decision Analysis)
· Analyze process non- compliance data and initiate necessary corrective actions
· Support certification initiatives (ISO / CMMI etc)
· Define / refine processes in assigned areas in consultation with Process owners
· Providing training and guidance to employees on processes / tools
· Define requirements for process automation / reporting
· Identify and share best practices and contribute to continual improvement of processes
· Other QA related tasks
