Job Description
Major Defence Company is currently looking for Firmware Development Engineers, to Define, implement, integrate and test of firmware for electronic subsystems used in the company's products.
You will be responsible for:-
Generation of safety related requirements specification
Definition of test and verification of safety related firmware
Support during hardware, firmware and software integration
Preparation of formal test, verification and software documentation
Experience and Knowledge:-
Digital Circuit Design
VHDL for firmware design (desirable)
Familiarity with Actel lattice firmware development tools (desirable)
Familiarity with Telelogic DOORS requirement management tools (desirable)
Position is based in Stevenage, contract is for 6months.
Due to the specific nature of this role, candidates holding current SC clearance are highly desirable. Successful candidates who do not hold current clearance shall be requested to undergo National Security Vetting procedures. Please be aware that the Security Vetting process can take several weeks depending on the level required
