Job Description
Fresher - Looking for Junior Engineer
Advertisement No.1 of 2008
Candidate Profile on prescribed form are invited from the eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment to the following temporary posts.
Junior Engineer (For Irrigation Wing)
Qualification : Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Machanical Engineering from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
Age as on 01.07.08 : Between 18 years to 35 years (upper age can be relaxed as per rules)
Pay Scale : 6300- 10700/-
Junior Engineer/ Electrical
Qualification : 3/4 years Diploma holders in Electrical Engineering from recognized Institutes or Matric, Industrial Training Institute pass Lineman with 5 years experience as Lineman.
Age as on 01.07.08 : Between 18 years to 35 years (upper age can be relaxed as per rules)
Pay Scale : 6300- 10700/-
Junior Programmer
Qualification : BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Sc.)
Age as on 01.07.08 : Between 18 years to 35 years (upper age can be relaxed as per rules)
Pay Scale : 4300-7500 (Initial Start Rs.4775/-)
About Employer
Fee : Each application should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Bank Draft/ Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs.100/- for General Category and Rs.25/- for SC/BC category payable at Chandigarh by Bank Draft/IPO drawn in favour of Sr.Accounts Officer, BBMB, Chandigarh. Please write your Name, Father’s Name, City and Post applied for on the back of the Bank Draft/IPO. No fee shall be charged from Ex-Servicemen, if they are not released from the Army at their own request, but their dependants are required to pay the fee, as applicable.
How To Apply
A candidate whether belongs to General category or reserved categories viz. Scheduled Caste (SC), Backward Class (BC), Ex-Serviceman (EXSM) or Physically Handicapped can submit only one application for particular category of post. Application Form complete in all respects duly filled in by the candidates in their own handwriting in Capital Letters and signed in the specified space should be sent by registered post or be deposited by hand in a sealed envelope with remarks ‘Application for the Post of______________against Advt. No.__________’ superscripted on the envelope to the office of Member Secretary, Centralized Staff Selection Committee, BBMB Secretariat, Sector 19-B, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh so as to reach on or before the last date, i.e. 30th July, 2008. All the columns of the Application Form should be filled in.
