Project Title of Project : COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS OF HIGH VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS OVER LOW VOLTAGE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS Role : Calculating required values for comparing the total cost of LVDS & HVDS systems Domain : Total Cost Function Description : The project deals with cost benefit analysis of high voltage distribution systems over low voltage distribution systems. The power generated at 11KV is distributed to the consumer terminal using low-tension distribution system which consists of lengthy lines contributing heavy line losses. Therefore, by adapting high voltage distribution system where 11KV line extended nearer to the consumer terminal and transformed into low tension system. In this method firstly we calculate total cost of LVDS, its results are compared with the total cost of HVDS.
