How to prepare for the aptitude exams?

In this article, I will explain how to prepare for the aptitude exams. Aptitude exam is the first thing one should clear first to attend the interview. I share the simple way to get clear in any aptitude exams.

Aptitude:

Aptitude is the questions which are asked from basic mathematical concepts which we have studied in our 8th to 10th class of our schools. They are very basic but little tricky to understand the question. Once we understand the question clearly, it is half solved. All the basic mathematical formulae and some concepts is the next half to solve the problem. The problems which we study in our schools are more mathematical but the aptitude questions are more real time problems. Only if you clear the aptitude test, you are allowed to sit for other interview process.

Type of questions:

The aptitude questions are divided in to two categories. One is quantitative and other one is analytical reasoning. Quantitative questions are more like number systems, ratios and proportions, geometry, probability, algebra and so on. The analytical reasoning questions are more like coding and decoding, clocks, calendars, directions, and so on.
The quantitative questions are the one which comes more in the aptitude exams when compared to analytical reasoning questions. So concentrate much more on quantitative questions. But analytical reasoning is also important as a whole.

Learn concept wise:

If you start to prepare for your aptitude exam, you should have some plan well before learning it. I till that plan how to study the aptitude questions. First of all, buy any aptitude book which is available in the market. My suggestion is to buy R.S Agarwal book which is very much useful for the aptitude exams. It is up to you to use any book, but make sure that it explains the concepts well with more examples solved.
There are only 18 to 20 concepts in any aptitude book. Plan some reasonable time to finish all these 20 concepts. If you are having no time to allocate more time to study the aptitude, then spend at least 10 minutes daily to this aptitude questions. If you follow it properly, you will be happy at the last. If you are in a leave and if you think that you can spend some more time in aptitude. Then allocate two days for each concept. One day for understanding the whole concept and second day for practicing many questions in that concept. So if you do like this, you can finish your aptitude preparation just within 40 days. You will be surely happy after 40 days if you follow what I am telling here now.

A day before exam:

If you are keen on clearing the aptitude exam, there is no way other than learning all the concepts before your aptitude exam starts. But learning all the concepts is not just enough to be confident. If you want to be more confident to clear in aptitude, then just search the previous year aptitude questions of the company you are going for the interview. Download those previous year aptitude question papers and try to solve all those and be prepared. If you solve the previous year question paper of that company, you will be more confident in your side for the aptitude exam. Most of the companies follow some pattern of questions as their aptitude questions.
