| Involute gear profile error detector | Prakash k | 22 Oct 2009 |
The primary aims of the project it to check the involute profile error by applying the basic principle of involute generation. our effort doesn't end with checking the profile error. behind this we have a great motive in fabricating are invovled checker at a cheaper cost that call be easily affordable by common manufacturer.
Involute profile error in a gear and other circular components results in eccentricity which produces great voice and transmission error while meshing of gears and gear failure etc

| To modify the already existing design of the conoweeder in order to make it user- | Maheedhar Kaki | 16 Jun 2009 |
Three specific modifications have been introduced into the design of the cono-weeder. The modifications introduced are intended to give the user greater comfort while using the cono-weeder. In particular women are expected to benefit since these modifications allow adjustments to accommodate for users of different heights and built. These modifications are low in cost and can be easily introduced into other cono-weeders locally.
The project is easy but needs some visualization. So i recommend you to see

| Industrial Brakes and its Maintenance | RK | 21 Mar 2009 |
Electromagnetic brakes electrically released and spring set to achieve ‘fail safe’ operation. i.e. in the event of power failure, the brake applies automatically eliminating the rise of potential damage. However, in certain applications, on power failure, it may be necessary to release the brake manually for a short time. The manual release attachment on BCH brakes has been designed for this purpose. An important feature is that it is self resetting. i.e. the brake stays released

| Alignment - pitfalls & how to identify and eliminate. | RK | 28 Jan 2009 |
Machine parts alignment is a straightforward process, but in real world applications, it is often compounded by structural faults such as ‘soft foot’, piping strain, induced frame distortion, excessive bearing clearance or shaft rubs. These pitfalls can turn a simple job into an all day affair - frequently with unsatisfactory results despite a conscientious effort and a considerable investment in manpower and downtime. This paper will examine how to eliminate some of the typical reasons why alignments are
