Answer the following [12 x 1 = 12M] a) Convert (1010)_{2} to Gray code? b) Subtract the decimal 649387 using 9's complement method? c) Expand EBCDIC? d) Simplify the Boolean expression xyz+x'y+x'y'z? e) Why NAND and NOR gates are called universal gates? f) The min terms of the Kmap are arranged using which code? g) Differentiate a decoder and a demultiplexer? h) What is a state table? i) What do you mean by synchronous counter? j) What are the advantages of ECL logic family? k) How many number of flipflops are required for Mod16 ring counter? l) What is the width of the address bus of a Rom of size 1024x8 bits?

Locate the position of the error bit using parity checks and give the method for obtaining the correct sequence?
