Discuss in detail, the fundamentals of building design for fire prevention point. (20) PART - B ( 4 × 10 = 40) Answer any FOUR questions. All questions carry equal marks. 6. Describe the various types of branch pipes used in fire service. (10) 7. What is meant by escape routes ? What considerations are given in the construction of an assembly building for safe evacuation of people in the event of a fire break out ? (10) 8. Make a list of personal protective equipment required of fighting personnel. (10) 9. What is meant by specific area ? How are solid fuels categorized according to the specific area ? 10. Describe the working of a ejector type of pump primer. (10) 11. Describe the construction and application of "CO2 cartridge type of portable water extinguisher." 12.
