Note: This paper is divided into part- 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D'. Attempt all questions from Part- 'A' and one each from Section-'B', 'C', 'D'.
Part-'A'
Note: Attempt all questions. Answer in not more than 100 words. Each question carries 5 marks.
1. Suggest an outline of Production Organization for a big manufacturing company.
2. Briefly outline the objectives and utility of statistical Quality Control.
3. Describe the advantages and disadvantages of centralized purchasing of materials.
4. Examine the role of fringe benefits in a sound wage policy.
5. Distinguish between job evaluation merit rating.
6. Elicit the causes of industrial disputes in modern organizations.
7. Examine the difficulties in export marketing.
8. Discus the factors affecting the choice of Distribution Channels.
Part-'B'
Note: Maximum 600 words. Each question carries 20 marks.
9. Examine the meaning and significance of Product Development. What steps should be taken for systematic development of of a new product.
10. What are the different techniques that may be adopted for controlling inventories? Suggest the most suitable technique for controlling the inventories of a large manufacturing concern.
Part-'C'
Note: Maximum 600 words. Each question carries 20 marks.
11. What are the main difficulties regarding Worker's Participation in Management? Suggest suitable measures for effective implementation of this scheme.
12. Why should management be concerned with all the dissatisfaction growing out of company environment? Discuss the basic steps of a well planned grievance redress procedure.
Part-'D'
Note: Maximum 600 words. Each question carries 20 marks.
13. Describe the various media of advertising and discuss their merits and demerits.
14. "Marketing is the performance of those business activities that direct the flow of goods and services from producer to consumer or user". Comment and explain various functions of marketing.
