Applications are invited for admission in M. Phil in Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychology for the session 2009-2011.

Essential Qualification : 55% marks in aggregate in M.A. / M. Sc. in Psychology/ Applied Psychology from any recognized University / Institute (for SC/ST/OBC category minimum of 50% marks in aggregate is required). Candidates with M.A. / M. Sc. Degree by correspondence course/part time course/ by distance education are not eligible. Candidates who have appeared in M. A. / M. Sc. final examination might apply, provided their results should reach the interview board on or before the date of interview.

Course fees :
Admission fee -- Rs. 2000/-(for each year)
Tuition fee -- Rs. 2000/- (per month)
Examination fee -- Rs. 1000/- (for each yearly examination)
Application fee -- Rs. 500/-
Application Fee Rs. 500/- to be sent in form of demand draft in favour of "M. Phil in Clinical Psychology, C. U.", payable at any bank in Kolkata. Alternatively application fee may be deposited by cash in Bank of Baroda, C.U. Extension Counter, Rajabazar Science College Campus by C.U. Challan.

Last date of submission of application : 4th January 2010

Admission test : 13th January 2010 ( 11:00AM to 12:30 PM)
Reporting time : 10:30 a.m

Venue : Department of Psychology, UCSTA, 92 A.P.C. Road, Kolkata – 700009.

Nature of Questions: 60 Multiple choice objective type questions (45 minutes) and 1 essay type question (45 minutes) for written test.

Qualified candidates will have to appear for an interview.

List of qualified candidates for interview: 14th January 2010 at 11:00 a.m.
Date of Interview: 14th January 2010 at 11:30 a.m.
List of Final Candidates will be announced on 15th January 2010 after 3:00 p.m.
