If our mother nature had to go for distributing awards to the biggest poluuters. It would have probably gone this way... Read this resource and realize, to what extent humans have polluted the earth!

If the Nature had to provide awards for pollution, in India, it would have gone for it probably in this way.
Welcome to the 1st International Indian Pollutants’ Awards 2010 (IIPA)
1. The highest ever polluted region: Nominees are:-
-- Ankleshwar and Vapi in Gujarat
--Ghaziabad and Singrauli in Uttar Pradesh
--Korba in Chhattisgarh
--Chandrapur in Maharashtra
And the winner is Ankleshwar and Vapi in Gujarat. Congratulations to you! It has been also found that the other competent are behind just because of minute differences in points.
2. The highest ever populated region: Nominees are:-
--Uttar Pradesh
--Madhya Pradesh
--West Bengal
--Gujarat
And the winner is Uttar Pradesh.
3. The most coomon disease in India: Nominees are:-
--Hepatitis
--Diabetes
--Cholera
--Flu
And the winner is Hepatitis. Congratulations…
4. And at last the major pollutant ever: No nominees….!!! The winners are Human Beings.
