COURSE OBJECTIVES :
The objective of this workshop is to improve operational capability while reducing costs and successfully implementing the Information Technology in manufacturing. The workshop will provide a state of the art research and technology update in the area of manufacturing systems and management to the faculty members working in engineering colleges and research scholars. This
course is designed to explore all possible applications of IT into manufacturing such as MRP, MRP II, ERP, CRM, SRM, Logistics and Supply
Chain Management through expert lectures and case studies. Delegates attending this workshop will hear how new thinking in Manufacturing Systems in enabling organization to transform their competitive capabilities. The workshop format is also designed to enable maximum interaction between the faculty and the delegates.
COURSE CONTENTS :
The following topics will be covered in the course:
1. Introduction to Material management and Supply Chain Management
2. Supply Chain Analytics
3. ERP,CRM and SRM
4. RFID and Information Security in SCM
5. Logistics Management
6. Lean Manufacturing
