Please Note --------- "ab" means "a" multiplied by "b".

1. square = a 2

2. parallelogram = bh

3. trapezoid = h/2 (b1 + b2)

4. circle = pi r 2

5. ellipse = pi r1 r2

6. rectangle = ab

7. triangle = 1/2 bh

8. equilateral triangle = square root 3/2 (a 2)
