Job Category:

1. Chief Manager (R&D) - Vacancy: 1 - Grade I position
Essential Qualification:
Ph.D in Chemistry/Chemical Technology/Chemical Engineering/ Industrial Chemistry.
Experience:
At least 10 years industrial experience in Research & Development, out of which a minimum of 3 yrs in a senior position in a reputed organization.
Scale Rs.14300-18300 (T.E –Rs.33200/-p.m. in the minimum of the scale)
(CTC: Rs.5.3 lakhs per annum + Telephone/Pickup facility etc. including Basic + DA, HRA, CCA and indirect benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, CPF contribution (12%), Gratuity contribution, leave salary benefits etc.)
Note: Higher start in the scale will be considered in the case of highly
Competent/exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.
Age Limit: Below 50 years as on 01-01-2010
2 Manager (R&D) - Vacancy: 2 - Grade II position
Essential Qualification Preferred Addl.Qulfn. Experience
Ph.D in Chemistry -------- 7 yrs Managerial Experience in R&D Work of which a Minimum of 3 yrs in a
Senior position in a reputed organization.
OR
Degree in Chemical Engg./ PG in Business Mgt./ 12 yrs Managerial experience in R&D Work of which 3 yrs in a senior position in a reputed organization.
Scale Rs.12600-15600 (T.E –Rs.29400/-p.m. in the minimum of the scale)
(CTC: Rs.4.8 lakhs per annum + Telephone/Pickup facility etc. including Basic + DA, HRA, CCA and indirect benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, CPF contribution (12%), Gratuity contribution, leave salary benefits.)
Note: Higher start in the scale will be considered in the case of highly
Competent/exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates.
Age Limit: Below 45 years as on 01-01-2010 with usual age relaxation to

3. Finance Manager - Vacancy-1 - Grade II position
The candidate should be ACA/AICWA having a minimum of 5 years post qualification managerial experience in a senior position in a reputed organization.
Preferred Addl.Qualification: ACS/MBA/PG Degree in Mgmt.
Accounting/ Commerce.
Scale Rs.12600-15600 (T.E –Rs.29400/-p.m. in the minimum of the scale)

4. Plant Manager - Vacancy –1 - Grade III position
Essential Qualification:
Degree in Chemical Engg./Chemical Technology or equivalent.
Preferred Addl. Qualification:
PG Degree in Engg./PG Degree in Business Management.
Experience:
At least 7 years post qualification experience in the Management in relevant field in a reputed chemical industry.
Scale Rs.10000-15150 (T.E –Rs.23230/-p.m. in the minimum of the scale) (CTC Rs.3.8 lakhs per annum including Basic + DA, HRA, CCA and indirect benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, CPF contribution (12%), Gratuity contribution, leave salary benefits).
Age Limit: Below 40 years as on 01-01-2010 with usual age relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
5. Asst.Executive Engineer (Boiler Operation) - Vacancy- 2
Essential Qualification:
Degree in Mechanical Engg./Electrical Engg. With Boiler Operation Engineers’ Proficiency Certificate.
Preferred Addl.Qualificatiion:
PG Degree in Business Management/Engg. in relevant area.
Experience:
3 years experience in the relevant field in a reputed concern.
Scale Rs.8250-13650 (CTC: Rs.3 lakhs per annum including Basic + DA, HRA, CCA and indirect benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, CPF contribution (12%), Gratuity contribution, leave salary benefits).
Note: Higher start in the scale will be considered in the case of highly
qualified and experienced candidates.
Age Limit : Below 35 years as on 01-01-2010 with usual age relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
6. Rigger - Vacancy –3
[Scale Rs. 2490-5900 (T.E.Rs.9950/- (approx.) per month]
Qualification: SSLC with 3 years experience as Rigger/Malabar Khalasis
Age Limit : 35 years as on 01/01/2010 with usual age relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
7. Security Guard - Vacancy – 3
[Scale Rs. 2370-5040 (T.E.Rs.9602/- (approx.) per month]
Qualification: SSLC or equivalent with 5 years Military service
Physical measurements: Height 5’5” Chest: 32”- 34”
Age Limit: 35 years as on 01/01/2010 with usual age relaxation
Applicable to SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen as per rules.
8. Management Trainee in the following disciplines:

(i) For Management Trainees under 8(a) to (b)
Age Limit: The upper age limit will be 24 years’ as on 01-01-2010. Age relaxation shall be allowed in the case of candidates with MBA/PG in Business Management/PG Degree in Engg. in the relevant disciplines by 2 years.
Note: Further age relaxation as applicable to SC/ST/OBC as per rules shall
Also be given.
(ii) Stipend: Rs.8250/- p.m. will be paid as stipend during the period of
(iii) Training Period: Selected candidates (Posts No.5 (a) (b) shall have to undergo training for a period of one year and on successful completion of training will be absorbed as Asst.Plant Manager/Asst.Executive Engineer (Mechanical) in grade IV of the Managerial Cadre in the scale of pay of Rs.8250-13650. [Total emoluments in the minimum of scale at the time of absorption are around Rs. 3 Lakhs per annum (CTC) which include indirect benefits such as Medical Reimbursement, CPF Contribution (12%) and Gratuity Contribution etc.].
(iv) Selected candidates for Management Trainees as above will have to execute a bond for Rs.25,000/- to the effect that they shall serve the Company for a minimum period of three years after successful completion of probation in the post. In case they voluntarily relinquish or resign the job during the bond period, they will be liable to pay the bond amount as compensation to the Company.
Note: In the case of candidates having 3 years post qualification managerial experience in the relevant area from a reputed chemical industry, they may be considered for direct appointment as Asst. Plant Manage/Asst. Executive Engineer (Mechanical) (as the case may be) in Grade IV in the time scale without inducting as Management Trainees as stated. In such cases, the age limit will be 35 years as on 01/01/2010 with usual relaxation for SC/ST./OBC candidates as per rules.
General conditions:
(i) Selected candidates under posts No. 4 to 8 shall have to work in three shift system. Hence only male candidates willing to work in three shift system as per Factories Act/Rules need apply against these posts.
(ii) Candidates meeting the requirements at the time of notification may apply with full particulars of qualifications, experience, caste, age etc along with true copies of certificates and a recent passport size photograph, superscripting the envelop : “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF………………………”
