The Syllabus for MPPSC Preliminary Examination


MPPSC Pre-Examination is contains Paper-I and Paper-II, Total of 450 Marks.
Both Papers are Objective Type and answered in ORS sheet.
Both papers have same time for answers the Question paper i.e. 2 Hours only.

1. Paper I Compulsory: for 150 Marks.
General Studies optional type of question paper compulsory for all.

2. Paper II Optional: for 150 Marks.
Optional subjects for MPPSC preliminary examination:
One subject you have to select from the list of valid subjects.
The optional subjects as follows,

1. Agriculture
2. Economics
3. Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
4. Indian History
5. Zoology
6. Geography
7. Botany
8. Geology
9. Chemistry
10. Political Science
11. Physics
12. Public Administration
13. Mathematics
14. Sociology
15. Statistics
16. Criminology and Forensic Science
17. Civil Eng.
18. Psychology
19. Electrical Eng.
20. Philosophy
21. Mechanical Eng.
22. Law
23. Commerce

The Syllabus for MPPSC Main Examination

Main Examination only for candidates who success in Pre-Examination.
The Main Exam is consist of Written test of Seven papers.
Main exam sub divided in to compulsory and optional question papers.
The written test is assay type.

MPPSC Main examination Compulsory Papers:

Paper-I : General Studies and 300 Marks.
Paper-II : General Studies and 300 Marks.
Paper-III : General Hindi and 300 Marks.

MPPSC Main examination Optional Papers:

Paper-IV : Optional Subject 1A
Paper-V : Optional Subject 1B
Paper-VI : Optional Subject 2A
Paper-VII : Optional Subject 2B

All Papers having 300 marks each.
The Time is 3 hours.
Answers are assay type.

Such combination of subjects not allowed in Main Examination, This are:

1. Political Science and International Relations and Public Administration.
2. Anthropology and Sociology.
3. Mathematics and Statistics.
4. Agriculture and Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science.
5. Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
6. The literatures of Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu Languages not more than one subject.
