ENTREPRENEURIAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (EDP)


 

In our country we have good number of large and small industrial enterprises.

For the successful operation of enterprises,managerial and technical skills

are essential. However most entrepreneurs lack these skills. Many short training

programs to impart the required skills for industrial entrepreneurs are now available.

EDP is intended to strengthen entrepreneurial ability,interest and to develop

entrepreneurial skills

Here are some of the objectives of EDP -


* Improvement in the quality of entrepreneurship.

* Industrialisation of backward areas.

* Self employment of educated youth

* Improvement in the skills of small scale entrepreneurs.

* Development of different type of enterprises.

* Formulation of new projects.

* Familiarization of the process of starting enterprises.
