Hai Friends, Written test was conducted on 21st September 2007 and the short listed candidates had their GDs followed by Technical and HR interviews on 22nd and 23rd September 2007 . The venue was :Adithya Enginnering College ,Surampalem
Eligibility Criteria: BE / B.Tech all branches except Bio-Tech and Bio-Medical, MCA
Percentage: 10th - 60%; Inter - 60 %; Engineering/MCA - 60% (in case of MCA, 60% in degree) and above till date how ever students with max 2 live backlogs/ arrears and 58% in BE/B.Tech/MCA (10th and 12th as above) and above as on the day of drive to participate in the process. They should fulfill the above criteria before they join us if selected. No Break in academics more than one year. Candidates who have attended for SATYAM recruitment process during last 6 months are not eligible to take part in the process
Satyam Recruitment Process consists of Four phases. They are: 1. Written Test (Aptitude, Reasoning) 2. Group Discussion. 3. Essay writing 4. Technical + HR Interview Round.
Written Test: In General the question paper consists of 15 Questions. Among those 15, 10 questions are from APTITUDE and 5 are from reasoning Topics.
The Main Topics one has to concentrate are TIME, SPEED, DISTANCE. PROFIT & LOSS. PERCENTAGE. SIMPLE INTEREST/COMPOUND INTEREST. PERMUTATION & COMBINATION. PROBABILITY. TIME & WORK. ODD MAN OUT & SERIES. HEIGHT & DISTANCE. AVERAGE. BLOOD RELATION. PROBLEMS ON AGES. RATIO & PROPORTION. DATA INTERPRETATION. PROBLEMS ON CLOCKS/CALENDARS. ALLIGATION & MIXTURES. Pyramid Problems
Group Discussion: GD is the Elimination around. One has to take more and more precautions in this around. Usually the GD in Satyam can be conducted among 10 candidates. The Duration for group discussion is 10min. First they will give 1min 2 jordon the points and then one will intiate the topic and the team will discuss the topic for 8min and the last 2 min is for conclusion.
From my group 4 member we get through this round and our topoic is "Freshers prefer Brand Name or Money" I choose the option "Brand Name" Among those 4 Im the one.
Then followed by Essay Writing on "MY HOMETOWN"(just to check ur writing skills)
Then Tech/H.R Round and it was around 45min
Tell me about urself. They asked questions from network Security(I mentioned it my paper presentation) and covered almost all the circculum subjects. diff between String and Varchar A query to create an employee table A c program and explained it Diff between virus and worm wt is trojan horse what r d.s and their def oops concepts with examples and so on
Finally 46 members were selected and Im the 2nd person in the list
Be confident... Prepare more for technical... There is no need for preparation for the other rounds... This is enough to clear... I wish u all the best friends... There is negative marks in written test . Answer those questions which u r confident with.
