Hi friends,
Iam Aparanjitha doing M.C.A Final year in Sri Y.N college Narsapuram . Our college is situated near the banks of river vasista godavari in 1949 by sri yerramilli Narayana Murthy panthulu for the benifit of students from rural areas It is one of oldest colleges in Andhra University area. It attained the status of degree college in 1956 and elevated to Post Graduate level in the year 1989-90 and initially started M.Com., MA(English), M.A(Pub-Admm). Subsequently, MBA(1991-92), MCA(1992-93), MA/M.Sc(Maths) (1995 - 96)
M.Sc(Computer Science) (1999 - 2000) and now it is offering
M.sc biothech and M.sc microbiology .
All the departments have good lab , library faclities . A part from this our college offers certification courses in personality development , soft skills ,communication skills, acting and so on.
Our college has Gandhian center which consists of a huge collection of books , articles etc about Gandhiji.
Staff members are so interactive , encourage us very much and we love them all . Our college is situated in a serene atmoshphere which refresh our minds and helps to work more and learn more.
The college has celebrated its Golden Jubiliee in the year 2000.
Comming to events , im proud to say that our college is the first to celebrate festivals as a part of that we conduct youth pongal .On that day the college resembels village environment and also Youth christmas . Students celebrate Teachers day and Annual day celebrations.
The only thing i dont like about our college is that they didnt conduct campus selections (bcoz ours is not an engineering college).Hope this will also come true for my juniours. One minute there is no ragging in our college. Seniors and juniors interact with each other and they are so friendly.
