Considering the global demand for engineers and shortage of the same in various fields, many students opt their carrier in engineering.The students are in great doubts and thoughts after plus two about the higher studies.The Science students just completed plus two are looking for engineering admission.Before joining in a particular college or a course, there are certain issues a student must consider.

1.Selection of The Course
The most important step while opting an engineering profession is the selection of the course. The course should be selected in such a way that the course is having a high demand after four years of his/her study. Due to the economy crisis in the last year, many students didn't opt Computer Science.But, now the situation has changed. Ans opportunities are rapidly increasing in IT fields. Students should also consider their tastes and passions towards that particular subject. One who is not interested in Computer Programming should not opt Computer Science.Therefore students should have an idea of the course they are opting.
2.Selection of The College.
The college in which engineering is done is very important for the professional life.So one needs to select a good engineering college satisfying their needs.There are large number of colleges in India. The main Engineering colleges are 15 IITs, 20 NITs,BITS etc. Apart from these colleges there are many other colleges run by the State Governments and other private sector. The main point that must be concerned is the reputation of the college. A college with a very good reputation attracts the main companies. For this the college needs to have good alumni students and infrastructures. The fee structure in private colleges is very high and students need to consider this fact too.
