However Yubhraj Singh is dropped from the squad following his poor for in the last session but I think that he should be included in the team at this point of time. Hereby I am sharing my opinion and view over the incident.

It was really a bolt from blue to me to hear Yubhraj Sing is dropped from the team sent Asia Cup. Sachin Tendulkar is also not going with the side but that was a different case, selectors decided to rest him in order to make him fit for more important series.
When asked, the panel replied that for past few months the performance curve was moving downward and no significant improvement could not be noticed and thus they had to take such decision. Beside of it disciplinary issues were also involved. The selectors also included some rising talents in the team in order to make them acquainted with the international standard of the game.

If we consider the situation carefully then we will find that the side is mentally feeble after two consecutive looses defeat to Zimbabwe followed by a crucial defeat by Srilanka and as a result they were rules out failing to reserve a birth in final. To boost the confidence of the team here we need some consecutive victory and for that senior experienced cricketers like Yuvhraj are essential. We should blend the juniors with seniors properly so that junior can get advantages of the experiences of seniors.

There is no drought that such moves by selector will boost the confidence of young players than will make the reserved bench more powerful but I think this is not the appropriate time to drop Yubhraj. I think he should be given chance to make a comeback because once the big hitter batsman gets back into proper rhythm then he become most ferocious batsman of the squad who alone can change the color of the match. He is an excellent fielder and beside of that he is also active with ball and can take wickets during crucial moments. I think his absence will be felt in upcoming Asia Cup.
