Applications are invited for admission to the following programmes:

MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Sc. (Nursing),

Certificate Programme In Clinical Cardiology (1 Year)
Certificate Programme in Echo Technique (1 Year)
Certificate Programme in Dental Mechanics
Certificate Programme in Dental Hygienists

Eligibility
For MBBS: Any candidate who is a Citizen of India with the following Academic Qualification can apply: Pass in Higher Secondary Examination ( 10 + 2) of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes are however eligible if they have 40% aggregate marks taken together in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have passed the examination in those subjects as well as in English.

B.D.S. Degree Programmes: Passed the H.Sc. Examination with a minimum of 50% of marks in each of the subject viz. Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) put together and English for all categories.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes are however, eligible if they have 40% aggregate marks in the above subjects.

B.P.T. / M.P.TH. integrated Degree Programme:

A pass in H.Sc. (Academic) with (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany/ Zoology) and English Examination or equivalent examinations accepted by the Annamalai University.

B.Sc.(Nursing) Degree / Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Programme: H.Sc. Exams (12 yrs. course) (or) Senior School Certificate exams. (10 + 2) Pre-degree exams. (10 + 2) (or) any equivalent with 12 yrs. schooling from a recognized Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE)

For SC/ST: 40% of aggregate marks in PCBE.
Unmarred Female Candidates only are Eligible.

Age Limit: For MBBS / BDS / BPT / M.P.TH. integrated the candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2010 For B.Sc.(Nursing) and Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery programmes should have completed 17 years of Age and should not over 30 years and for SC/ST: 35 Years of Age as on 31.12.2010. No request for relaxation of the age will be entertained.

M.P.T. Degree Programme
Candidates seeking admission into MPT Degree Programme must have acquired the B.`P.T. Degree of Annamalai University (or) a Degree of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto by this University.

M.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Programme
(i) Candidates seeking admission into M. Sc. (Nursing) Degree Programme must have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, (for SC/ST candidates minimum of 50% of marks of aggregate marks).

(ii) Candidate should have undergone B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) in an institution which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.

(iii) Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).

(iv) Minimum 1 year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).

(v) Candidates shall be Medically fit.

Certificate Programme In Clinical Cardiology:
M.B.B.S. Degree from a MCI Recognized institution.

Certificate Programme in Echo Techniques:
Any recognized Degree in Biological or Physical Sciences (Only Female
candidates can apply).

Certificate Programme in Dental Mechanical Dental Hygienists

A pass in Xth Std. with an aggregate of 50% marks along with pass in English language or en equivalent recognised qualification.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 15 years as on 31st December 2010.
