Peepli Live – Briefs

Aamir Khan forgot to pay a folk song musical group of Madhya Pradesh for their song he used in Peepli Live . Ultimately he took the whole responsibility on himself. Production manager of the unit was sent to the village and the band people were invited to Mumbai. Aamir completed the formalities at Mumbai by taking permission of the band for using the song in his film.

In Peepli live's music launch program in Mumbai, Aamir Khan was seen with instrument, Drum. Aamir was very happy and said "It was my childhood dream to perform alongside one of those long-haired rockstars and play some instrument. I finally got an opportunity. I thank, Indian Ocean for completing my childhood fantasy,".

In this live concert, Aamir Khan paid tribute to Late Asheen Chakravarty. Asheen Chakravarty was the lead voice of Indian Ocean. The song Zindagi Se Darte in Peepli Live is the last song composed by Asheen Chakravarty.

Peepli Live will be premiered at Melbourne International Film Festival on 6 August. Peepli Live will be in a special category ‘Not Quite Bollywood’ in this festival.
