Modulators, Integrated optic spectrum analyzer, Non linear optics second harmonic generation,

Fourier Optics and Holography: Phase transformation of thin lens , Fourier transforming
property of Lens, Image forming property of Lens, Interferometry, Principles of Holography On
axis and Off Axis Holography, Holographic interferometry-Real time, Double exposure, Contour
generation ,Optical data storage, Holographic optical elements, Speckle Phenomenon and
methods of Measurements, Laser Interferometer.

Optical Fiber Sensors: Multimode fiber Sensors -Displacement ,pressure ,stress, strain Intensity
modulated sensors, Active multimode FO sensors, Micro-bend optical fiber sensor, Current
sensors, Magnetic sensors, Single mode FO sensors, Phase modulated, Polarization modulated,
Fibre Optic Gyroscope.

processing, Analog Arithmetic operation-Addition/Subtraction, Multiplication and Division
