Smart Peer-to-Peer Photo Sharing System:

Digital cameras are currently the most popular consumer electronics products. With the growing production of photos, more and more photos are stored on line. In this project, you are going to implement a powerful peer-to-peer photo sharing system, which allows you to share your photos with friends, relatives, or special interest group. Moreover, it can help to find out photos taken by others. All machines in the system help to store photos and locate the requested photos. Various query routing algorithms and caching policies will be studied in order to reduce the photo search time and improve the accuracy. A context-aware auto-tagging support will be added to make the system work smartly.

Smart Browser for Pervasive Computing (CE Project):

A pervasive application should be highly adaptable, since it will be exposed to a world where runtime conditions change continuously. It must be able to face resource variability, user mobility, user’s changing needs, heterogeneous networks and so on, by adapting itself as automatically as possible. This project is to implement a context-aware Web browser to serve users in a mobile wireless computing environment. The smart browser could extend the Web by allowing documents to both refer and react to potentially changing contextual information. For example, the smart browser can provide the user with relevant information about the place where he is in, for instance, accommodation locations, restaurants, museums, etc. It also allows the client application running on different devices be capable of using different resolutions to show graphics, depending on variable available memory, network bandwidth in the current wireless network, remaining battery power, etc. The implementation may involve Java programming on PDA, XML, network programming on wireless LAN (802.11b, BlueTooth, etc.).

Distributed-artificial-intelligence-neural-network:

Experimental distributed grid project to simulate A.I. theory and learning systems using a neural network spanning X nodes over the Internet. Incorporation of autonomous agents is probable.
networkmanager
Network Manager,This is tool to assist network managers to build a model of their network and monitor it. This tool will help to capture the resources available on the network. It can feed the configuration database. Main Functionalities will be,mapping the network, validating the available resources. check their status, detect any problems, alert the network managers, manage remote systems.

Netmon:

This project here Monitors an entire network from a machine know as console. It provides a GUI Environment to the user to see who is connected to the network and if any link goes down it is showed on to the User. It also LOGS the packets sent by every node on the network.

Jban:

Bluetooth network is limited in size and scope. Although piconets can be configured to form a scatternet, the process is usually not dynamic and practical, and the network formed is not robust. In this project, we designed a new way to form adhoc network at the Java application level. Using JSR82 Bluetooth discovery agent and MIDP connection framework, JBAN allow unlimited devices to form a network dynamically, and the devices can be of any type if only they support Java and Bluetooth. JBAN does not care about which device is master or slave, and all the routing and network management are performed at high level. The concept of JBAN can be applied to WIFI or heterogeneous network as well.
