Vocational tranning should be a part of school curriculum

Critics have often pointed out the inadequacies of our education system.The general complain is that the school curriculum is too much academic.It is not practical or job oriented.Hence,vocational training must be made compulsory in every school and educational institution.Actually, Vocational training should be made a part of the school curriculum.This is a world of science and technology.
Liberalisation of economy has opened new avenues in industries and the corporate world.Information technology has brought a new revolution in teaching.Computer programming has been made a compulsoy subject in most of the schools.Every school and college has its own computer lab.Similarly,every school must have its workshops.The students must be imparted vocational training there because everyone can't be an engineer or a doctor.If vocational training is made as a part of the school curriculum,many students can easily earn their living.Immediately after clearing XII they can become the earning member of their families.Vocational training centres in schools can act as feeders for the corporate world.
