Theme: “India and China Comparative Analysis”
India and China are comparable in many ways – yet so different. They are the fastest growing economies; they have similar traditional values – like respect for elders, sacrifice for family, value for education etc. But the comparision ends there! China is three times as big as India and its economy is three times as bigger. India’s foreign trade and forex reserves are negligible compared to China’s. India is no where near China in infrastructural facilities. India is a cacophonous democracy while China is disciplined dictatorship. A thousand years ago travelling Chinese scholars came to India to study our philosophy and spirituality. Now its India’s turn to learn from China.
Swami Bodhananda, a highly respected and accomplished teacher of Vedanta, Yoga and meditation has graciously agreed to share his views on “India and China Comparative Analysis” on Friday 28th March 2008 at AIMA- Auditorium, Management House, Lodhi Road New Delhi from 6.30 to 7.45 pm.
May I request you to please make it convenient to attend the lecture which I am sure would be a learning experience for all of us as Swamiji will share his insights and observations after his recent visit to China.

Profile
Swami Bodhananda is a highly respected and accomplished teacher of Vedanta, Yoga and meditation. He is widely known not only in India but in USA, UK, Holland and several other countries where he lectures extensively. Swamiji is the spiritual founder and director of 11 organisations and ashrams under the umbrella of Sambodh foundation, New Delhi and Bodhananda Research Foundation for Management and Leadership Studies, Trivandrum Kerala. The foundation is actively involved in imparting value based education, maintenance of old age homes, running center for disabled children and several other valuable services to the society. Swamiji has also set up a society in Michigan USA to carry India’s message of spirituality and universal brotherhood to Western audience.
Swamiji has written several books, some of them are: Gita and Management; Self-Unfoldment; Meditation: The Awakening of Inner Power.
