Sushil Kumar wins World Wrestling Championship

The following article talks about Sushil Kumar winning Gold medal at World Wrestling Championship.

It's a great news for all the Indians as Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar has won Gold Medal at World Wrestling Championship held at Moscow, Russia. He is the first Indian wrestler to win the World Championship. India's previous best was bronze medal won by Vishambhar Singh in 1967 in World Wrestling Championship. It is another feather in Sushil's cap after winning the bronze medal in Beijing Olympics.
Sushil Kumar defeated Russia's Gogove Alan in the finals by 3-1 in 66 kg category. He won five consecutive matches to clinch the Gold.
His innumerable achievements in wrestling clearly affirm the fact that he is the greatest wrestler India has ever produced. It will be really difficult for any other Indian wrestler to match his feat. He has revived the ailing game of wrestling in India through his performances.
If he keeps on performing like this he can win lot more medals for India in future including a Gold Medal in next Olympics which will be even bigger achievement.
