Summer Research Programme 2008

Applications are invited from B.Sc., B.Tech. and M.Sc. students (preference will be given to BscII and M.Sc I year) and high school teachers of any branch of Science interested in a 6-week summer research programme being conducted at the School of Life Sciences (SLS), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The Summer programme is envisaged as part of the Community Outreach Programme of SLS, JNU under the UGC-sponsored ‘University with Potential for Excellence’ scheme. With the attempt to motivate and stimulate young and creative minds to
pursue a career in science, the summer school will provide the status of current research through talks from experts in the field of modern biological
sciences and hands on experiment. Each participant will be allotted to a lab
where they will conduct experiment and enjoy the fun of research.
